Step-by-step:

  1. Item Price = RM100

  2. Seller Voucher Discount = RM10

  3. Lazada Commission Rate = 13%

  4. SST = 8%

Commission Base = RM100 – RM10 = RM90

Commission Amount = 13% × RM90 = RM11.70

What Happens to Lazada Commission Fees for Returns or Failed Deliveries?

Lazada only charges commission fees when a sale is successfully completed and delivered to the buyer. Here’s how it works in different scenarios:

Once an order is delivered to the buyer, the applicable commission fee (based on your product category) is charged.

2. Failed Delivery = No Commission

If the delivery fails, for example, the customer isn’t available, cancels before receiving, or the parcel is returned by the courier, you won’t be charged any commission at all.
