In a continued effort to improve buyer experience and enhance logistics efficiency, TikTok Shop Malaysia has announced a revision to its platform shipping logistics fee structure. The updated rate card will take effect from 1 September 2025 at 10:00 AM (GMT+8). This update applies to both Standard and Bulky shipping services.

Key Highlights of the Update

New Rate Card Implementation

Effective 1 September 2025 at 10:00 AM (GMT+8), TikTok Shop Malaysia will implement a new platform shipping fee structure for all orders created from that time onward.

The rates will be the same for both buyers and sellers.
Shipping is divided into two categories:
- Standard Service: For parcels 15kg and below.

Update to Volumetric Weight Factor

TikTok Shop will also revise the volumetric factor used in calculating shipping weight.

The volumetric divisor will be updated from 6000 to 5000.
This means some large but lightweight parcels may be charged higher shipping fees than before.

How it’s calculated:

Volumetric Weight = (Length × Width × Height) / 5000

If the volumetric weight is higher than the actual weight, the shipping fee will be based on the volumetric weight instead.

Tip: Measure your product packaging to estimate whether this change will affect your shipping costs.

Occasional Price Testing

From time to time, TikTok Shop may test temporary shipping fee adjustments as part of efforts to improve logistics and stay competitive.

These are short-term tests, so actual shipping fees may differ slightly from the published rate card during these periods.
The tests will only affect a limited group of orders, and TikTok Shop will ensure that any impact on sellers is minimal and carefully managed.

If you notice a slight difference in shipping fees for certain orders, it may be due to one of these controlled tests.
