Starting 15 August 2025, all TikTok Shop sellers will be automatically enrolled into the Next-Day Delivery (NDD) program. This update is part of TikTok Shop’s effort to provide faster shipping options that boost buyer satisfaction and shop performance.

What is Next-Day Delivery (NDD)?

Next-Day Delivery (NDD) is a shipping commitment  where sellers must fulfill certain orders by the end of the next day after the order is placed.

These orders will be clearly labeled with a “Next-Day Delivery” tag so you can spot them easily. You’ll find this tag in the “Delivery Option” column on your Order Management page.

To avoid missing any, TikTok Shop also provides a filter that lets you quickly view and manage only the NDD orders, so you can prioritise them and make sure they’re shipped out on time.
 

When Do You Need to Ship NDD Orders?

To successfully fulfill a Next-Day Delivery (NDD) order, you must make sure it is marked as “Shipped” before 11:59PM (23:59H) on the next day after the order is placed.

That means the parcel must be handed over to the courier and scanned by then.

Your shipping deadline depends on how you fulfill the order:

• For pick-up orders: Get the parcel ready for collection (status = “Awaiting Collection”) before your courier’s cut-off time so they can scan it on time.

• For drop-off orders: You need to drop it off and ensure it’s scanned by the courier before 11:59PM.

Always check your courier’s daily cut-off time. If you miss it, your parcel might not be scanned in time which can hurt your delivery rate.
 

What is the Next-Day Delivery Rate (NDDR)?

The Next-Day Delivery Rate (NDDR) shows how well you’re handling your Next-Day Delivery (NDD) orders specifically, those placed between 12:00AM and 12:00PM.

It’s calculated based on how many of these orders you ship on time within a 30-day period (counting from 37 days ago to 8 days ago, not including today or the last 7 days).

Example:

• You received 100 NDD orders (placed between 12AM–12PM) over the last 30 days.

• You shipped 90 of them on time.

• Your NDDR = 90% (90 ÷ 100 × 100%).

Target: TikTok Shop recommends keeping your NDDR above 90% to maintain good performance.

Why Is NDDR Important?

Even though your NDDR is only visible to you, it still plays an important role behind the scenes in how your shop performs on TikTok Shop.

Here’s why it matters:

• A high NDDR helps improve your Fast Dispatch Rate (FDR) which measures how quickly you ship orders overall.

• Your FDR affects your Store Rating.

• A better Store Rating can lead to more platform perks like:

  • Higher visibility in search and recommendations

  • Eligibility for special campaigns or promotions

So, by keeping your NDDR high, you're also improving your chances of growing your shop’s reach and performance on TikTok Shop.

Where Can You Track Your NDDR?

Starting from 15 August, you’ll be able to see your NDDR in two main places:

1. Shop Health Page – where you monitor your store’s overall performance
    

2. Order Management Page – where you manage and fulfill your orders
    

Both pages will show your real-time NDDR, so you can keep track of how well you’re doing with your Next-Day Delivery and take action if needed.

Platform Features to Help You Manage NDD Orders

TikTok Shop is adding new features to make it easier for sellers to stay on top of Next-Day Delivery (NDD) orders:

1. Order Status Timers
   – These will now show NDDR-specific countdowns (instead of the usual Late Dispatch Rate timers), so you know exactly when your NDD orders must be shipped.
   – If you miss the NDDR deadline, the system will switch to the standard LDR countdown as a backup reference.
    

 

2. “Action Needed” Section
   – Your NDD orders will also appear here, with deadlines based on NDDR timing, to help you stay alert and avoid late shipments.
